Wit Beer in the Works
Our next seasonal beer coming out of the W. Seattle pub will be a Belgian-style Wit. Spiced w/ coriander seedsand flavored with chamomile flowers and Seville oranges from the Trappist monks at Spencer Abbey, this unfiltered wheat beer has a moderately zesty, citrusy frutiness to pair with its pale straw color.
The recipe includes flaked wheat and oats, both of which lend a smoothness and light creaminess to this cloudy, refreshing springtime ale.
Look for it to arrive on tap in both pubs in late April.
